Selling Evidence + Reflection

Day 1: Although at first, we felt as though we had planned enough, when it came down to it, there were a lot of things that went wrong. Firstly, we were relying on the fact that the kitchen would have plastic cups that we could use for the drinks, but they had run out. Another issue was that on Fridays, we have P.E before break, so we didn’t have time to get organized.

Next time, we will start bringing things in the morning before we sell, to ensure that we have everything we need. We will also ask to leave the class 5 minutes early in order to set up. Lastly, we will advertise more in advance through emails, etc.

Day 2: On day 2, the sale went better as we were much more organised. We decided to sell at lunch time as there is more time than during break. Since it was cold, we sold inside instead of outside as planned.

This is a spreadsheet that we made saying what we sold, when and for how much. We also calculated that we didn't make a profit as we spent 2 pounds more than we spent. If we had kept selling the left-over products, we could have made a profit. Another issue is that we bit off more than we could chew, so we ended up only selling twice.
