Stand Product Analysis


Aesthetics - This stand is appealing to the public. Its decorations give off the feeling of freshness and make the public feel good about what they’re consuming . Ingredients that are in the juice setup is vital when it comes to selling food. The ingredients and its colours match the mood that its surrounding has- as Camden is bright and colourful. In this, the importance of marketing is clearly seen. When it comes to food and people walking past, analysing their options, it is important for the set up, signs, decoration and anything else that represents the food you’re selling to spark some intrigue in the customers, as well as a sense of trust. This will make the first impression a good one and will hopefully attract more customers which is something this stand is able to do sufficiently well. This shows me that our stand should be bright and pleasing for people to see to spark some curiosity in them and come see what we offer.

Cost- This stand made sure to make the price of their products very visible. This makes the making up of mind from the customer much quicker and easier as it’s one of the things they see first when they look at the stand as a whole. Its prices were 1 pound for a small bottle and 2.50 pounds for the medium/large one. This shows me that our prices must be quite low for people to not only be intrigued but also to not have the opportunity to be hesitant about buying it due to the low cost.

Customer- I think that the target audience for this stand could range from young children to older people. This stand offers a product that could be relevant and bought by any gender and age. From this, I know that our products should have the same effect on people, being able to have all of the ages as our customers.

Environment- The products that were sold in this stand were relatively environmentally friendly. This is as the ingredients used to make their products were oranges which are biodegradable- obviously except for the plastic bottles in which the juice is poured in and sold. From this, I’ll try to make sure that our materials such as plates and cups are as environmentally friendly as possible.

Size- As can be seen from the stand, their juices are sold in travel-sized bottles that are easy to carry around. This is especially useful when their customers, being in at Camden Market, are going to be walking around. I can tell that if portions of food that we sell are too big, or the plates or cus in which they’re served in are too big, that it’ll feel like an inconvenience to customers- for this reason, we’ll keep the size as small as possible but with enough food to make it worth their money.

Function - The function of both their stand and their products are to attract customers. The products are smart in the way that they know people will have had walked around for quite some time and could be thirsty, maybe craving something with more taste than water. This is why the function of their stand and product is effective. This is why I have decided for our food and drink to match the summer mood that comes during mid may, as well as knowing the other food options that are offered beside us.

Materials- The materials this stand used were pretty simple and cheap when bought in quantity. Their main materials and ingredients for this stand were plastic bottles, oranges and a squeezer to make the making of the juices more effective. The food, or in this case drinks, need to be easy and quick to make. From this, I can tell that the products we sell should be easy to make and also affordable.
